DENtalks LIVE: How to Be Your Own Guru

Loving DENtalks Podcast and want more? Join us for a LIVE taping of our very first panel episode: How to Be Your Own Guru!

In a world with so many trends, lineages, religions and societal constructs, how do you determine what’s right for your soul? This panel gathers people from very different spiritual backgrounds to uncover the challenges, defining moments and life changes they’ve each experienced on the path to becoming who they are today.

Join our panelists on December 8th as they discuss the impact of family, religion, travel, trauma, career shifts and nutrition on arriving at personal belief systems and faith. Their inspirational journeys will help you check-in with yourself, ask the right questions, and finally learn how to become YOUR OWN GURU.

Stick around afterwards for an exclusive Q&A and book signing with our guests!

Mohammed Al Samawi

Mohammed Al-Samawi

A man raised in Yemen to a devout Muslim family, who faced death threats in his 20’s when he started questioning his beliefs. He fled to the city of Aden — not knowing that it was shortly to become the heart of the civil war between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Mohammed hid in his bathroom and appealed over social media for help, and luckily, a few people around the world got him out of the country. This is a man who has been searching for his own faith and spirituality despite outside influences, dangers and threats, which he shares in his book “The Fox Hunt.”

Chandresh Bhardwaj

Chandresh Bhardwaj

Spiritual advisor, international speaker, and DEN senior teacher. Chandresh hails from 7 generations of spiritual healers in India, and is a disciple of his father His Holiness Shri Chamunda Swami — but don’t call him a Guru! He started “Break the Norms” Movement with the intention of awakening human awareness from its conditioned self, quite literally breaking the norms about everything we think we know. His grandfather gave him the name Chandresh, whose translation of “Master of Consciousness” is quite fitting for his modern approach to spirituality and ancient wisdom.

Jordan Taylor Wright

Jordan Taylor Wright

Creative director and the founder of Taylor Cut Films, who despite working and creating content for some of the biggest names in entertainment (Usher, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez and beyond) maintains a conscious and purposeful life. Jordan found his own unique path to success, and though he’s surrounded by a materialistic industry, upholds the importance of living spiritually and, “Forever in the Infinite Now,” which is also the title of his book.

Cassandra Bodzak

Cassandra Bodzak

The author of the best- selling cookbook “Eat with Intention: Recipes and Meditations for a Life the Lights You Up” which pairs mantras with intentional eating to light your life from the inside out. Being your own guru starts with nourishing and loving your body, and her mission is to help people around the world realize the potential they have to do that. Cassandra believes in tapping into your own body’s wisdom – and not diet or health fads – to truly live a fuller life.
