Yin Yoga with May Yeung

This workshop’s purpose is to allow the mind and body to “Rest and Digest” coupled with “Letting Go & Surrendering” to arrive to a state of openness & calmness through Yin Yoga. Yin Yoga includes active poses that stretch and release muscle & joint tension.

Steady long holds influence the body’s meridians to deeply open the spine, hips, & hamstrings to create space in the joints and nourish the connective tissues and ligaments.

The work in these challenging poses is finding the ease in the discomfort that arises and a meditative awareness of the sensations as they come and go.

**Space is very limited! Please bring your own yoga mat.
