DEN ETIQUETTE

Just a couple of things…

At The DEN Meditation, we have just a few things you should keep in mind when you come and take part in our classes, workshops, and events. None of this should come as a surprise to you–we are a mediation studio after all–but we believe it’s important to be open and transparent about everything. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with The DEN Etiquette policy, and we’ll see you soon!

DEN Etiquette: Late Policy

STRICT LATE POLICY

Unfortunately, once the door is shut, we do not open it. So please arrive 5-10 minutes before your class to allow for easy preparation and transition. While we want everyone to enjoy our classes, coming in late does disrupt the flow and is disturbing to those who are already meditating. Please enjoy a cup of tea and a book from our library as you wait for the next class.

DEN Etiquette: Check Cell Phones

MANDATORY CELLPHONE CHECK-IN

To ensure that everyone has a distraction-free experience, we require all phones to be checked in and powered down when you arrive. If you need a charge, just ask us! For the same reasons we ask that you not make or receive calls, play videos out loud, watch amusing gifs of monkeys riding bicycles with the volume on…you get it, lets keep it peaceful in here! Trust us, you’ll thank us later.

DEN Etiquette: Quiet Voices

USE QUIET VOICES

Just as you don’t want to be disturbed during your meditation, please be mindful of other classes in session. Please use quiet voices as you navigate through our studios.

DEN Etiquette: No Drinks

NO DRINKS IN ROOMS (Except Water)

Please be kind to our facilities and reduce the clean up needed aer each class. Only water is allowed in the rooms; please leave other drinks in the lobby, or finish them before entering the class.

DEN Etiquette: No Shoes

NO SHOES IN ROOMS

Please remove shoes prior to entering the classrooms. Also, if you happen to be wearing heels or shoes that are particularly loud, it would be great if you can remove them earlier and put them in a cubby, as they really can disrupt people who are currently meditating.

DEN Etiquette: No Cash

NO CASH

We know that money comes in many shapes and forms, but we do not accept cash bills or coins in our studios. This way we can make your transactions quick, easy, and trackable.
