Asha stepped into her first yoga class at the age of 16 as a form of physical therapy after sustaining a spinal injury. In 2007 she started her first teacher training and in 2010, she completed 500 hours at YogaWorks in Costa Mesa, California with mentors Kim Haegele, Kori Strobl, and Paul DaSilva. Her passion and drive for yoga arise from physical healing where her focus is on alignment in poses and connection to the breath in each movement. She believes that the physical and emotional bodies are linked and can be accessed through movement and breathwork. She has taught an integrative blend of Restorative, Hatha, and Vinyasa flow classes since 2009.Following her intuition, Asha’s embrace of her talents and skills grew to include energy work, sound healing with quartz crystal singing bowls tuned to 432hz, and guided meditation. Asha’s class is devoted to awakening and connecting the mind, body, and spirit. She will guide you on an incredible journey beyond the physical body taking you deep into the energetic realms of intuition, reconnection to your true self, and take you to a place of peace, love, and surrender. The path of holistic and intuitive healing is a lifelong journey. Asha is dedicated to always deepening and expanding her knowledge. She is currently enrolled in a Kinesiology program at Pasadena City College.
